Changes to School Uniform – From September 2025

Following extensive consultation, Woodham Walter C of E Primary School will be updating its school uniform from September 2025.

The decision to make these changes has been made after listening carefully to the views of all stakeholders, including parents, carers, staff, governors, and pupils. We are extremely grateful to everyone who took the time to share their feedback and help shape the future of our school uniform.

Please find attached a document outlining the specific changes that will take place from September 2025. These changes include the introduction of our new school logo, which we are incredibly proud of, and a smarter uniform for Years 5 and 6, including a shirt and tie, to help prepare our older children for their transition to secondary school.

We want to reassure parents and carers that we do not expect a full replacement of uniforms immediately. The new uniform can be phased in gradually as and when children outgrow their existing items. We are also pleased to confirm that we will continue to offer access to ‘nearly-new’ uniforms, including the updated green items, to support families.

We are really excited about these changes and believe they reflect the values and aspirations of our school community.
