Asda Cashpot for Schools

This is a really easy fundraiser for the school with no additional cost to you guys!

All you need to do is sign up for the Asda Rewards app (if you aren’t already signed up) go to cashpots and follow the instructions to opt in to Cashpot for Schools.  When prompted, enter the school postcode to nominate Woodham Walter.

Asda will then donate:

  £50 to the schools cashpot for the first shop done in store or online by someone that has opted in, nominated the school and scanned their reward card

  £1 to the school cashpot for each person that signs up and nominates the school (they don’t even have to shop there!)

  0.5% of each persons spend in store or online (not George.com online though) that has signed up, nominated the school and scanned their reward card

 This is ongoing from now until the 30th November.

   You will still earn your own personal Cashpot alongside this so you don’t miss out on anything.

   I am also told that you can collect rewards at the George shop at South Woodham Ferrers (very handy if your children have already ruined school T-shirts like mine has!)

So please please please sign up yourselves, ask friends and family if they’d sign up and nominate us too. Even if you don’t shop there, we’d still get £1 for you signing up. Then Asda will donate a nice chunk of money to our lovely little school to be spent on amazing things for our children.

About the PTA

Woodham Walter Primary School PTA is a registered charity made up of parents and staff from the school (Charity Number 1104104)

As parents, you automatically become members of the PTA when your children start school.

The committee itself is a small group of enterprising, hard-working people who are always looking for new members and lots of good ideas!

All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to be involved even if they can only give a small amount of time.

The money that we receive from our various fundraising and social events is put back into the school so that it will benefit all our children during their time at Woodham Walter.

Normally, we hold an AGM in September each year to vote for new members and to gather ideas and support for the coming year, as well as to publicise what funds we raised the previous year and what we have spent the money on.

Our PTA is much, much more than a fund-raising organisation. It also exists to provide closer links between home and school.

The PTA is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school. Most importantly, it can be great fun too!
